Magnetic Output Control for Compatible SANlight LED Fixtures

The SANlight Magnetic Dimmer (M-Dimmer) is a compact output controller designed for direct use with compatible SANlight LED luminaires. Adjustment is performed contact-free using a magnetic clip, without mechanical knobs or external controllers.

One M-Dimmer is required per fixture to be dimmed. The dimmer is powered directly by the LED light and is only active when the fixture is switched on.

Four Power Levels & Soft Fade-In

The M-Dimmer offers four fixed power levels: 100 %, 80 %, 60 % and 40 % of the fixture’s nominal output. The currently selected level is indicated by three green LEDs.

An integrated fade-in function gradually increases light output when the fixture is switched on. Depending on the selected level, the target output is reached within a few minutes.

Magnetic Clip Operation

Two functions can be selected using the supplied magnetic clip:

Dimming: hold the white side of the clip against the dimmer
Fade-in active: hold the black side of the clip against the dimmer

Note: As the dimmer is magnetically operated, strong external magnetic fields should be avoided nearby. A minimum distance of 30 cm from mains cables is recommended.
